CAIRO, May 30, 2018 (MENA) - Veteran actress and movie producer Madiha Yousri died Tuesday night at the age of 97. Yousri's first appearance on the big screen was in 1940 in the film Mamnoa el Hob (No for Love) which starred late legendary singer and composer Mohamed Abdel Wahab. The deceased was famous for her smiling face, and was chosen as one of the ten most beautiful women in the world during the 1940s. Madiha Yousri shot to stardom when she starred in three films alongside legendary actor Youssef Wahbi and the films were Ibn el Hadad (The Son of the Blacksmith), El Fanan el Azeem (The Great Artist) and Awlady (My Children) . Her artistic career saw a long list of successes including her famous films Avokato Madiha (Madiha, the Lawyer), Khatib Mamma (Mom's Fiancée), Ard el Ahlam (Land of Dreams), Ahlam el Shabab (The Dreams of Youth), Mamnoa el Hob (No for Love), Tahya el Setat (Long Live Women) and Amir el Intikam (Prince of Vengeance).
