CAIRO, May 15, 2018 (MENA) - Meetings on Arab trade and investment mechanisms started in Cairo on Tuesday at the Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU) under the chairmanship of Egypt. CAEU Secretary-General Mohamed Rabie said the two-day meetings will discuss a number of important issues with the aim of upgrading mechanisms to promote trade and investments among Arab countries. He also said the meetings will review the Egyptian investment file and the new privileges of Egypt's investment Law No.27 for the year 2017. Participants will probe several studies on the production of oily seeds and vegetable oils, the role of free trade zones in promoting inter-Arab trade movement, the establishment of a joint real estate Arab company as well as setting up a mechanism for Arab business partnerships.
