Council of Arab Economic Unity (CAEU) will hold Sunday a meeting in its headquarters in Cairo to discuss development of investment and trade mechanisms in Arab countries, Al-Bawaba News reported. The meeting will last for two days and will discuss a number of topics, including the General Secretariat's report on the request to amend some of the articles in the statute of the mechanism of developing the investment and trade in the Arab countries. It will also review a number of notes by the Arab and African Cooperation sector of the Egyptian Ministry of International cooperation, as well as a study on direct foreign investment to the Arab countries and the obstacles it faces, in addition to ways to overcome them. Furthermore, the meeting will discuss the proposal to establish an Arab Academy of natural resources and a note on investment in Iraq.
