CAIRO, April 23, 2018 (MENA) - State Minister for Immigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs Nabila Makram held intensive meetings with the working team of her ministry to tackle preparations for "A Week To Revive The Roots" to kick off in Alexandria on April 30. The event will be attended by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as well as his Greek and Cypriot counterparts. During her latest meeting, Makram probed the event's agenda and contacts with the State's bodies concerned to participate in its organisation, said a statement issued by the Immigration Ministry on Monday. The event is considered the first initiative of its kind as it is meant to celebrate the foreign nationals who once lived in Egypt and assert the importance of creating links between the world's nations and the Egyptian people, the statement read.
