CAIRO, March 26 (MENA) - Immigration Minister Nabila Makram said Monday that the Aman certificates will be issued for Egyptian expatriates after a mechanism is outlined for the purpose. Makram already contacted Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Governor Tareq Amer, who welcomed the idea, a statement by the Immigration Ministry said. They agreed to study mechanisms by which to issue the Aman certificates for expats. In a meeting with officials from Banque Misr, Banque Du Caire and the National Bank of Egypt, Makram agreed to form a committee of the four banks that issue the certificates to study the mechanisms and write a final report. Egyptians in the Arab Gulf region will be the first to benefit from the Aman certificates once they are issued for expats, the minister made it clear.
