Daesh leader killed in ambush northeast of Baqouba

BAGHDAD, April 11, 2018 (MENA) - A Daesh leader and one of his associates were killed in an ambush in northeast of Baqouba, the security committee of Diyala council said Wednesday.
A unit of Popular Mobilisation Forces set an ambush to the Daesh leader and his companion in al Saadiya district northeast of Baqouba, the committee added.
Most of Iraqi territories were liberated from Daesh militants but the terrorist group still keeps some sleeper cells in some parts of Iraq.
