Prominent Egyptian anchor calls on UK to designate "Muslim Brotherhood" a Terrorist entity
Published in Daily News Egypt on 29 - 11 - 2021

Egyptian prominent TV anchor Nashat Al-Dehi stated that the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom agreed to the proposal of the Home Secretary to include the Palestinian "Hamas" movement, with its military and political wings, as a "terrorist" organization.
Al-Dehi pointed out that the House of Commons of the United Kingdom approved this decision, explaining that accordingly any citizen who supports this movement in the UK will be punished with 14 years in prison.
Al-Dehi, who is presenting the well-known political talk show "Bal Warqa wa Al-Qalam" through the privately-run TV channel of "Ten" said that "Hamas" is an authentic part of the outlawed group of "Muslim Brotherhood".
He explained that Hamas's strategy is based on the ideology of the outlawed "Muslim Brotherhood".
Al-Dehi raised numerous questions on whether the British government is intending to activate the report that came from the former British prime minister who offered that the Brotherhood was a terrorist group.
He pointed out that there is fear within the group about being listed in the UK as a terrorist group, adding, "Can Johnson, the British prime minister, who has positions opposed to political Islam, take the next step by listing the Brotherhood as a terrorist organization and then this international organization ends?"
He said that the fugitive Brotherhood leader Ibrahim Munir called on the British government to review the decision regarding the "Hamas" movement, while the fugitive Mahmoud Hussein declared that the "Brotherhood" condemns this decision, and demanded that the British people reject the decision and support the struggle of the Palestinian people.
Al-Dehi explained that the evidence that there is a state of severe division within the "group" is Ibrahim Munir's statement and Mahmoud Hussein's statement regarding the "Hamas" movement, as they reflect the area of disagreement between the two sides.
Al-Dehi added that the fugitive Brotherhood member Mahmoud Hussein decided to dismiss "Ibrahim Mounir" from the group as well as the formation of a committee to manage the group's affairs through the General Shura Council.
He pointed out that this decision was intended to take over everything within the group.
Al-Dehi noted that there is a state of confusion within the group, as the group has become divided into two groups that have two shura councils so that each council comes up with special decisions, two news websites, and two official spokespersons.
