The Commercial International Bank (CIB) – Egypt has added the Cashback credit card to the Bank's portfolio of cards, which allows customers to receive up to EGP 500 cashback per month on everyday purchases from different categories such as gas, dining, groceries, and apparel.
"The value of CIB's new Cashback credit card exceeds the benefits it offers to CIB customers. The introduction of this card and its accompanying incentives will encourage customers to move away from cash transactions and rely more on cashless transactions," said Rania Nada, Head of Cards Business at CIB.
The Cashback credit card also comes with a wide array of additional features and benefits, such as credit life insurance up to EGP 500,000, up to four free supplementary cards, automatic cashback rewarding, the ability to withdraw up to 100% of the card's credit limit in cash and CIB's Online Secure Service for online payments.
"This is in line with the Central Bank of Egypt's (CBE) effort, in collaboration with the Egyptian government's national agenda Egypt Vision 2030, to transform Egypt into a cashless society. Using incentives such as offering customers cash back on their various purchases will encourage consumers to rely more on bank cards," stated Rania Nada, Head of Cards Business at CIB.
CIB prides itself on its vast array of credit cards designed to suit the needs and lifestyle of every type of customer. In addition to the new Cashback credit card, CIB's portfolio includes the World Elite, World, Platinum, Titanium, and Gold, as well as Mileseverywhere cards in partnership with Egyptair, and the HEYA card, a card designed specifically with the modern Egyptian woman in mind.
