O West sales reached EGP 3.5bn by end of September, construction begins this quarter: Beshara
Published in Daily News Egypt on 13 - 01 - 2020

Khaled Beshara, the Managing Director, and CEO of Orascom Development Holding and Orascom Development Egypt, revealed that the sales of O West City amounted to EGP 3.5bn during the first 9 months of 2019, and construction work will start during the first quarter of 2020, while units will be delivered in three years.
The contracts for educational zone facilities, social and sports club, retail centres, the medical zone, the hotel area, and many other vital services are being finalised, and these services will be announced during 2020.
He noted that O West is a one-year-old integrated city with 30 years of global experience. “We strive to benefit from our accumulated experience in 7 countries and 3 continents. We will work to integrate our services at the local level to maximise the benefits from the experiences gained. For example, the football academy will be linked to the sports club in O West and the football academy in El Gouna Sports Club,” he said.
He stressed that O West City is a continuation of Orascom's development strategy in building integrated cities, where sophisticated housing units have been designed with unique specifications and modern designs that take into account environmental factors and the surrounding nature, as it is scheduled to deliver the units with full finishings and services to allow owners to immediately move in.
O West City is being built on an area of 4.2m square metres (sqm), equivalent to 1000 feddans. The area of housing units is 3.2m sqm for 19,000 units, including apartments, duplexes, penthouses, townhouses, and twin houses, as well as villas.
O West is located in the 6th of October City in west Cairo and is only 10 minutes away from Sheikh Zayed and two minutes away from the Mall of Egypt.
