Egypt offers comprehensive vision to meet African economic challenges: Nassar

Egypt is offering a comprehensive vision in order to meet the African continent's economic, cultural, and social challenges, with the aim of promoting continental peace and security, according to the Minister of Trade and Industry, Amr Nassar.
Nassar spoke on behalf of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi during the Africa Now Conference that is held in the Ugandan capital Kampala, under the auspices of the Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni.
The minister affirmed the support of the political leadership in Egypt for the process of economic and social transformation in the African continent and realising the aspirations of its peoples.
He highlighted the importance of the cooperation and joining forces to achieve the desire of African countries to embark on sustainable development and reach genuine achievements at all political, economic, and social levels.
Nassar noted Al-Sisi's appreciation for Uganda's comprehensive vision of the political integration in Africa, which was presented to the recent African Union Summit in February 2019 in Addis Ababa.
Nassar pointed out that Egypt has a comprehensive vision to meet the 11 main challenges that were discussed during the summit of the African Peer Review Mechanism in 2015 in South Africa.
Furthermore, Nassar stressed the importance of continuing the amplification of dialogue and the exchange of visions among African peoples and leaders at all levels of government and the public in various fields, in order to identify the concerns of the continent's countries, and review all development proposals within the framework of establishing ownership of each African for the future.
