The Egyptian Power Saving Company (EPSCO)—a subsidiary of Triple M—has signed an agreement with the Jordanian Glory Logistic Service and Energy company to become the EPSCO's agent in the Jordanian market and manage the sales of their LED lamps.
Suhad Al Qassab, chairperson of Glory and EPSCO's agent in Jordan, said that the first LED lamps shipment affiliated to EPSCO has reached Jordan, and negotiations are ongoing with several government and local bodies in Jordan to supply the products over the upcoming period.
She added that the company aims to sell 10,000 LED headlights and 50,000 LED lamps in the Jordanian, Iraqi and Syrian markets by the end of this year. The company plans to expand the provision of Egyptian products to other Arab and African markets over the next year.
EPSCO's products are 100% Egyptian, and the agreement included that Glory are the company's agent in the Jordanian market in order to enhance relations between both countries and activate the free-trade agreement between Egypt and Jordan, Al Qassab indicated
The operational lifespan of headlights is 50,000 hours with a 24-month warranty, as for LED lamps, their lifespan is 50,000 hours and a 3-year warranty. EPSCO plans to launch a centre for the maintenance of headlights and lamps in Jordan over the next few months.
Noteworthy, Triple M has cooperated with Glory to sell drilling machines for solar energy projects in Egypt, Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Sudan. It also has a workshop for the maintenance of equipment and supply of spare parts and components of the energy plants in Benban, Aswan.
