Automech Formula 2018—the 25th Cairo International motor show— will be held at Egypt's International Exhibition Centre in New Cairo, on an area of 45,000 sqm, divided into three huge halls which will host over 40 car brands that will present 50 brand-new models for the very first time in the local market, said Hany Khafaga, the general manager of Automech Formula.
He told Egypt Automotive that the exhibition will present attractive offers for visitors, including a discount of up to 50% discount on transportation services of Uber and Careem, and price offers on the exhibited cars.
It is also expected that Shell will host the BMW Team racing driver Augusto Farfus.
Khafaga said this year's edition will offer visitors a number of test cars, which can intimately indicate the future of the automotive sector, and a special exhibition of electric cars representing the future of the automotive industry globally.
This edition will also witness the participation of Revolta Egypt for the very first time, a developer of electric charging infrastructure and other electric vehicle-related projects.
Khafaga expected that the event will receive over 300,000 visitors, especially since the current session is exceptional and holds many surprises for its visitors.
