24 brands preparing to participate in Automech Formula 2016
"Ghabbour" offers 7 new models for Hyundai, Mazda, and Sherry

The automotive market is waiting for launching the 23rd session of the Automech Formula 2016 auto show from 16 to 21 March.
General Manager of Art Line ACG-ITF Company Ahmed Ghozzi said the Automech Formula 2016 auto show will feature the largest gathering of the most important vehicles exhibitors and producers in the Egyptian market by offering the latest models in the automotive world.
The Automech Formula is one of the most important specialised auto shows in Egypt, the Arab region, and North Africa. It is accredited by the World Organisation of Auto-mobile Manufacturers(OICA) and The Global Association of Exhibition industry (UFI), most visited by exhibitors and consumers, and attracts 500,000 visitors in six days. The23rd session will take place on an area of over 45,000sqm, divided into eight halls.
Ghozzi said his company is in cooperation with major companies operating in the automotive sector in Egypt and the Arab region. "Automech Formula 2016 is featuring more than 22 global models, however Mercedes Benz will be absent," Ghozzi said.
Chevrolet, Kia, Ford, Renault, Jaguar, land Rover, Volkswagen, Mini, Peugeot, Alfa Romeo, Subaru, April, Mazda, Suzuki, Hyundai, Hengan, Beck, Jeep, Fiat Brilliance, Ssangyong, Sherry, and Sepia are the prominent participants in the show.
German brand Mercedes Benz, Chinese Geely, and Spanish Seat will not participate in the Automech Formula 2016.
Auto Group BMW and MINI agent in Egypt is expected to present three new models; German BMW brand-new X1 and X4 while MINI will launch its new Club Man, a source, who wished to remain anonymous, from within the company said.
Daily News Egypt is expecting Japanese brand Suzuki to present the new Vitara with approximate prices of EGP 200,000. The Suzuki Vitara 2016 will be available in two different models; the first with an engine is powered by 2.4-liter,4-cylinder, and 164 hp and the second has an engine capacity of 1.6 liters,1.6 horsepower, and 4-cylinder. It also has many luxury options including LED front and rear lights, non-slip brakes, tonic chairs skin, and ABS brake system.
Ghabbour Group (GB) is getting ready to launch seven new cars during the auto show in the company's three wings; Hyundai, Mazda, and Sherry. Chinese brand Geely is absent from GB's branches.
It will be presenting new cars of Korean brand Hyondai; the Kreta, Solaris, and Elantra HD, presented again in the Egyptian market as Elantra AD.
Ghabbour is presenting Toussaint 2017, the first 2017 model in Egypt.
Hyundai Kreta that belongs to the SUV collection comes with a 1,600cc engine, 123 horsepower and 6,300 rpm per minute capacity. The car is available automatic transmission.
Kreta price ranges are between EGP 190,000 to EGP 241,000. It comes on 30 categories, the firs is EGP189, 000, the second is EGP 224,000 while the latter is roughly EGP 240.0000 The car's first class has an ABS brake system, 16-inch-rims, with electric mirrors, and front foggy lanterns.
GB is presenting Hyundai Solaris in two types, sedan and hatchback, powered by 1400cc, 107hp, and 6,300rpm capacity per minute. It is also available with an automatic transmission. The first class has a safety systems containing airbags for the driver and front passenger, fitted with ABS brake system, 15-inch wheels size, and power mirrors.
The company is concealing the specifications and prices of the locally Collected Elantra AD, considered a surprise to the Egyptian market and will be offered in a competitive prices and new luxuries.
GB is presenting Toussaint 2017 Mode in Hyundai's wing, belonging to SUV collection. IT has a 1,600cc engine, 130 hp, 6,300 rpm per minute capacity, and an automatic transmission. The car has safety systems including airbags for the driver and front passenger, ABS brake system, and 16-inch rims with power mirrors, and front and rear blurry lantern.
GB is presenting Mazda with the new sedan Mazda 2, powered by Sky Active G with 1.5 liter, 108 hp, and 6,000 rpm per minute capacity that is distinguished by its economical fuel consumption .The average fuel consumption is roughly 5.5 liter/100 km with a sky active drive automatic transmission.
The car has safety systems include airbags for the driver and front passenger, 15-inch rims, centre Lock system, power mirrors, and blurry lanterns.
Esperanza clients are waiting for Sherry and the new products of Esperanza through new agent Ghabbour Auto, which is getting ready to launch Enfi and Tigo for the first time under Ghabbour's umbrella.
Both cars are distinguished by achieving significant sale volume. They are ranked second and third in the Chinese sales market.
Sherry Enfi is a sedan car, has 1,500cc engine, 109 hp, 6,000 rpm per minute capacity, and an automatic transmission. The first category has ABS brake system, 16 inch rims, power mirrors and blurry front and rear lanterns.
Sherry Tiggo belongs to the SUV collection with 1,500cc engine, 126 hp, 6,150 rpm per minute capacity, and an automatic transmission. The car has ABS brake system, 16 inch rims, power mirrors, and blurry front and rear lanterns.
Ghabbour Company announced in October2015 that a trilateral cooperation with Sherry international and Aboelfotoh Motors agreement is completed to acquire rights to exclusively distribute Sherry, known as Esperanza in Egypt, through GB Auto network in the Egyptian market.
Many other companies will showcase, for their motorcycles fans, in their wings nearly 30 different models including Ducati, KTM, BMW, Yamaha, Suzuki, Polaris, Victory, and SYM Scouters.
The 23rd session of Cairo International Motor Show Automech Formula 2015's list included participants such as Mercedes, BMW, Land Rover, Toyota, Volkswagen, Ford, Chevrolet, Hyundai and Subaru, Seat, Jaguar, Renault, Suzuki, Nissan, Peugeot, Kia, Opel and Mazda, MG, Geely, BYD, Shana, Jack and Changan, Zotti, Pike and Kaneohe, along with the classic and uncommon cars wing.
