Misr for Sound, Light expects 10-15% revenues growth in H2 of 2017/18
The ticket offers will contribute to increasing the company's revenue growth and will reduce its losses estimated at EGP 19m in the last year

Misr for Sound, Light and Tourism Development announced a reduction in the price of the company's show tickets in foreign language in the EGP 150 category, according to an official in the company.
The ticket offer will be available during the second half of this year and will contribute to increasing the company's revenues by 10-15% compared to the same period in the last year.
The new offer includes archaeological areas in Giza (Pyramids), Luxor (Karnak), and Aswan (Feila and Abu Simbel) after adding the value-added tax (VAT).
The company offers a 15% discount on 950 ticket books for the price of EGP 6,442, while the discount reaches 20% when buying more than 1,000 ticket books, bringing the price to EGP 6,404.
A 25% discount will be offered on 10,000 ticket books, where its price will be EGP 6,184, according to an official in the company.
He said that the offer will be valid until 31 December, noting that it may be extended to 30 June 2018.
The ticket offers will contribute to increasing the company's revenue growth and will reduce its losses estimated at EGP 19m in the last year, the official added.
Nagwa Mohammed El-Shazly, chairperson of the company, expected that her company's losses can decline during the year after the recent high turnout rates and ticket prices hike.
El-Shazly pointed out that the company aims to reduce its losses to EGP 13m by the end of this year compared to EGP 19m last year.
In a previous interview with Daily News Egypt, El-Shazly said that the company has a two-stage plan to reduce its losses. The first depends on the promotion of voice and light shows to increase revenues. The second stage depends on reducing expenditures, where the company actually saved about 30% of total expenses so far.
El-Shazly added that the company seeks to make optimal use of its financial resources and assets, whether in Giza or other governorates, while starting to invest in sound and light projects.
Misr for Sound and Light has increased its ticket price for foreigners since April from EGP 125 to EGP 150 per person.
