Banque du Caire increased the number of bank branches and units to 231 branches and units across the country, after opening six new branches and units this year, said Mounier El-Zahid, Chairman and CEO of Banque du Caire.
The new branches and units include a Fifth Settlement branch in New Cairo, and Wasta, and Beba, and new Beni Suef, in addition to the unit of Ashmun in Menufiya, and the unit of Abu Kabir in Sharqeya.
According to El-Zahid, Banque du Caire plans to open new branches and units in a number of governorates, including the governorates of Greater Cairo, Beheira, Marsa Matruh, Kafr El-Sheikh, Daqahleya and Alexandria, in order to provide the best level of services to suit the needs of customers in those governorates, and to promote the bank's presence in the regions and governorates that do not have adequate banking services.
El-Zahid said that the general direction of the state and its policy is to achieve financial inclusion, and spread banking awareness among citizens, and expand the customer base with the banks, so that every citizen has a bank account and can perform various banking transactions.
He added that, in this sense, Banque du Caire is keen to be more active inside the Egyptian banking market, The development plan pursued by the bank does not stop at the creation of new branches, but extends to provide competitive banking experience starting from the customer reception, to providing the service in a satisfying manner.
According to El-Zahid, the strategy of Banque du Caire is based on increasing the customers' trust through simplifying the work procedures in the branches, adhering to the concept of ‘know your customer', managing relations based on full sincerity and transparency with the customers, in addition to the competitive prices for services.
El-Zahid asserted that the bank is keen on offering the highest quality of banking services to customers through its network of branches that has all the advanced tools, like the ‘Queuing System' that was recently added to save the customers' waiting time at the bank.
