Egypt's Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met with senior ministry officials to stress the importance of increasing field presence at medical facilities, in order to improve communication with citizens and ensure smoother access to healthcare, the Cabinet said. He also stressed the importance of guaranteeing the availability of medicines at all distribution outlets, alongside regular reporting to monitor service quality and swiftly address any challenges faced by patients. The minister highlighted the need to review preventive and proactive measures in health facilities, focusing on the maintenance of infrastructure and strengthening security and cleanliness services to provide comprehensive medical care. Abdel Ghaffar called for intensified efforts within the ongoing 100 Days of Health campaign, now in its third year, to deliver healthcare services in remote areas and crowded public spaces, aiming to improve healthcare accessibility for all citizens. These directives reflect the ministry's commitment to developing Egypt's healthcare system and delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of the population efficiently and effectively, the announcement added.
