26 cars to purchase under EGP 20,000

Approximately 26 cars can be purchased in Egypt with a budget that does not exceed EGP 20,000, shopping website Dubizzle illustrated in a study.
The prices of the cars can vary from 1,000 to 20,000, the website added.
The list of cars included three models from the brand Fiat, namely Fiat 128, Fiat 127 and Fiat 131. Renault had two cars in the under-EGP 20,000 list, the 1986 model of the Renault 9 and the 1980 model of the Renault 18.
Skoda, Volkswagen and Toyota also had two different models on the list, while the Peugeot, Mazda and Honda had one model listed.
In 2014, the sales volume in the domestic automotive market totalled 293,000 cars, compared to 195,900 cars sold the previous year.
Chevrolet was at the top of the market with 22% of total sales, followed by Hyundai with a market share estimated at approximately 15.7%, then Nissan with share of about 10.4%.
In fourth place came Toyota with a total of 9%, followed by Kia with 5.6%, then Geely-Ghabbour with 5.6%, Suzuki with 4%, Renault with 3.9%, Mitsubishi with 3.1%, Skoda 2.3%, Peugeot with 2.2% and Speranza with 2%.
