DOHA: Jonas Oliveira scored once in each half Monday to give Brazil a 2-0 win over Egypt in a friendly in Qatar. The Valencia striker struck in the 39th and 59th minutes at Al Rayyan Stadium in a match held to raise money for famine victims in Somalia. It was Brazil's second victory in a row, having beaten Gabon 2-0 last week. Egypt substitute Ahmed Hassan equaled the world record for most international appearances when he came on in the 73rd minute. Hassan joins former Saudi Arabia goalkeeper Mohamed Al Deayea on 178 matches. "While thanking those who say I should be included in the national team to achieve a personal goal, I believe that decision must be based only on my performances at club level," said Hassan, who has played in four Africa Cup of Nations-winning sides. Former United States coach Bob Bradley lost his first game in charge of Egypt. Bradley coached the US from late 2006 until he was fired in July following a 4-2 loss to Mexico in the final of the CONCACAF Gold Cup and replaced by Jurgen Klinsmann. Bradley was hired by Egypt in September to succeed Hassan Shehata, who led Egypt to three straight African Cup titles but failed to qualify the team for next year's tournament. Egypt is attempting to reach its first World Cup since 1990. The team is in an African second-round group with Comoros, Guinea, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. Egypt is scheduled to host Brazil in Cairo in February.
