CAIRO: Harras Hodoud s veteran striker Abdul-Hamid Bassiouni hailed his side s Egyptian Cup triumph as the greatest moment of his career. The military club won the first title in their history after defeating ENPPI 4-1 on penalties following a 1-1 draw. I won a lot of trophies during my career but this time is special, Bassiouni told Modern Sport after the match. It is the most precious triumph for me because it is Hodoud s first in history. Bassiouni won a host of trophies during spells with Zamalek and Ismaili, including the Egyptian league and cup. Midfielder Mohamed Gouda, a former Ahly player, echoed Bassiouni s sentiment. It s my first triumph since my days at Ahly, where I used to win trophies before leaving them in 2004.
