Raya World showcases the company's new business solutions

CAIRO: In its fifth annual conference and exhibition, Raya Holding presented its portfolio of technology solutions to boost performance and gain competitive edge for businesses in different sectors.
Raya World Conference and Exhibition 2008 - held on April 15 and 16 under the theme "You aspire. We achieve - was inaugurated by a Gala Dinner attended by a number of ministers, government key figures, and society and business leaders. The dinner's key note speakers were Dr Zahi Hawass, Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and Dr Heba Handoussa, Research Director for the Gender Economic Research and Policy Analysis (GERPA). The speeches were followed by the delightful music of the renowned pianist Moushira Issa.
"Raya World 2008 aims at presenting to the Egyptian market the latest and most effective technology solutions that will help in developing businesses into stronger and more competitive entities, said Medhat Khalil, Chairman and CEO, Raya Holding.
"This year, the conference and exhibition will be addressing key business sectors, including financial services, telecom, real estate, government, contact center, and business process outsourcing, he added.
Various Virtualization technologies were introduced in Raya World sessions to overcome the peek performance requirements of applications and enhancing the utilization of IT systems for businesses. Among the other showcased solutions were: Next Generation Network Solutions, Voice & Video Solutions, Data Center Solutions, Customer Relationship Management Solutions, Smart Card Solutions, Information Security, FTTX solutions, and Cisco Mobile SEF (Service Exchange Framework).
In addition, special sessions were made for the fast growing industries: Contact centers and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO). Selected sessions were geared towards how to enhance business process outsourcing, prospecting, customer acquisition, customer care and customer value growth with greater cost efficiency and risk mitigation.
Aside from the different solutions showcased, Raya also offered the attendees central IT trainings in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007, and New Hacking Techniques and Countermeasures.
