CAIRO: The April 6th Youth Movement, demanded on Tuesday, three of the Presidential candidates, Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh, Khaled Ali, and Hamdeen Sabahi, to form an electoral team to face candidates, who they described as the remnants of the former Mubarak`s regime, and too, called them “the supporters of Israel.” Ahmed Maher, the General coordinator of the movement said that April 6th is currently coordinating with the three presidential candidates in order to convince them to form a coalition to contest a presidential election, based on a single electoral program». He added: “we are working to overthrow the remnants, figures and agents of Mubarak and Israel, who have worked throughout their service in the era of Mubarak to secure the borders and the security of Israel to fulfill its needs of Egyptian gas,” stressing that the programs of the three candidates, Fotouh, Khaled, and Hamdeen have a lot in common that would help in achieving “what`s good for the country”. The movement said in a statement that “it is struggling to convince the three presidential candidates and their campaigns to run for the presidential elections, united in the face of the remnants of Mubarak.”
