CAIRO: Ahmed Said, the leader of the Free Egyptians Liberal Party and a senior member of the National Front for Egypt, which is formed by the political parties and movements that withdrew from the Constituent Assembly, reiterated the front`s rejection to the formation of the current Constituent Assembly to draft and said that the front also rejects any bargains, on the withdrawal or inclusion of new members in the assembly, noting that “the main dispute is about the selection criteria which the assembly was based upon.” He said, in a statement on Monday: “the members of the front agreed on the need to represent all spectrums of society without exclusion of any segment of the society in the assembly, and confirmed the need to represent Al-Azhar and the Egyptian churches and trade unions as a prerequisite for the continuation of any dialogue.” The meeting of the National Front for Egypt, was attended by the heads and leaders of the political parties: Free Egyptians, and Wafd, Taggamu, and the Egyptian Social Democratic, Wasat, Ghad Al Thawra, the Nasserist, and the Democratic Front, and Al Adl, the People's Socialist Alliance, reform and development, and the Al Itihad, the democratic Al Geel.
