Cairo (dpa) – Kuwait's state security prosecutors are investigating 10 people who were arrested for allegedly wearing military uniforms and possessing automatic rifles, reported the Kuwaiti newspaper Al Rai on Saturday. The suspects include seven Kuwaiti nationals, two stateless residents and an Iranian man, the paper quoted security sources as saying. The suspects reportedly said they were preparing to shoot for a television show when they were arrested wearing the military outfits and helmets, according to the sources. Kuwait has so far avoided the type of popular uprisings that led to the ouster of leaders in Tunisia, Egypt and Libya. But the ruling emir is under pressure to implement political reforms. The oil-rich Gulf country is bracing for parliamentary elections in February. Bikyamasr.com ShortURL: http://goo.gl/WdxTu Tags: Investigation, Military Section: Kuwait, Latest News
