Kabul (dpa) – At least eight soldiers with the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force were killed in several attacks in southern Afghanistan, the military said Friday. Earlier Friday, four were killed by a bomb in the region, and a fifth in a clash with insurgents, an ISAF statement said. Late Thursday, another bomb killed three NATO soldiers, ISAF said without releasing further details. The military in Afghanistan leave it to the participating nations to announce the identities of any casualties.
