Cairo's Criminal Court adjourned the stock market case where sons of Egypt's toppled president, Alaa and Gamal Mubarak, are accused of illicit gaining, alongside seven high profile figures from Egypt's national bank and Hermes for investment, to September 8. Accused in the case are: Ayman Ahmed Fathi Hussein Suleiman, Ahmed Fathi Hussein Suleiman, Yasser Suleiman Hisham al-Malawani, Ahmed Naeem Ahmed Badr, Hassan Mohamed Hassanein Heikal, Gamal Mohamed Hosni al-Sayed Mubarak, Alaa Mohamed Hosni al-Sayed Mubarak, Amr Mohamed Ali al-Qadi and Hussein Lotfi Sobi al-Sherbeini. The court adjourned the case in order to enable the defendants to review the necessary files, prepare their defenses and testimonies, reported the Middle East News Agency. The court decided that the defendants, Ahmed Naeem Ahmed Badr and Hassan Mohamed Hassanein Heikal, are to be arrested for failing to attend the court session, and kept in custody like Mubarak's sons. All defendants involved in the case were either banned from traveling or will be arrested upon their arrival to the country.
