Published in Amwal Al Ghad on 20 - 04 - 2016

Grundofs Egypt inaugurated the Egyptian Association for Water Pumping and Environmental Protection in the attendance of Danish Ambassador in Cairo Pernille Dahler and Hennining Sandaeger - Grundfos Middle East and North Africa's director.
The opening ceremony was also attended by a group of the business leaders and Grundfos partners around Egypt.
Ehab Eshak, General Manager - Grundfos Egypt stressed that; with the support of the company and its distributors, the new association aims for spreading environmental awareness of the importance of water conservation, as well as working with the latest technological systems in irrigation and recycling wastewater. The association uses new and renewable energy to maximize their benefit in Egypt through the organization of scientific seminars, lectures and workshops, which include field visits to work sites
Eshak explained that the association targets members of major consulting firms and water and sanitation companies all over the country. It also targets engineering students, in addition to scholars in all environment and water related fields.
Grundfos Egypt is keen on playing its developmental role in the community, Eshak added. The company seeks to maintain its lead in line with its position as one of the major companies operating in Egypt, with the largest share in the Egyptian market and the most efficient network of huge services with big partners, a network which extends to after-sales and maintenance services in Egypt, Libya, Sudan and South Sudan. This also comes in line with the company's plan to conduct a wider range of activities the coming two decades.
