EFSA Says EGP1.7bln Mortgage Lease Contracts at April-End

Chairman of Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority(EFSA) Sherif Samy said the total value of Mortgage lease contracts within the period from December to April reached up EGP1.7 billion against EGP1.58 billion in the same period of the previous year, move up by 9.1%.
Real Estate activity comes at the top of ratings as it recorded EGP712.8 million with 41%, then trucks activity seized 18% (EGP312 million ) from the total mortgage lease contract in addition machinery and equipment that reached 11.5% (EGP198 million), Samy added.
The total number of Mortgage lease firms are 25 , Korbliss Leasing Company ranked first by capturing 21.27% market share and GB ranked second with 15.4% market share and QNB Alahi's Corporate and Investment as it gets 11.35% from the contracts till the end of April 2014.
