Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources signed an initial tariff agreement and handling agreement on Tuesday for the Cronos natural gas field project with global energy companies Eni and TotalEnergies. The signing took place on the sidelines of the Eastern Mediterranean Energy Conference and Exhibition (EMC) in Limassol, Cyprus. Mohamed El Bagoury, Head of the Central Administration for Legal Affairs at the Ministry of Petroleum, represented Egypt in the signing. Alessandro Gelmetti, General Manager of Eni Cyprus, signed for Eni, while Pascal Breant, Managing Director of TotalEnergies in Egypt and Cyprus, signed for TotalEnergies.
