Egypt's Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawy met with TotalEnergies CEO Patrick Pouyanné on the sidelines of the World Energies Summit in London to explore new investment opportunities and review progress on joint gas projects. According to a ministry statement, the two sides discussed potential areas for oil and gas exploration and reaffirmed efforts to enhance Egypt's investment climate to attract more international energy partners. Talks also covered recent developments in the project to transport natural gas from Cyprus's Cronos field to Egypt, where it will be linked to the country's gas infrastructure.
