Emaar Misr's CEO Says Investments Up EGP 53 bln Within 2013

Mohamed El Dahan, CEO of Emaar Misr, has asserted that there is a clear strategy for the company regarding their investment projects in Egypt, as Emaar has started to launch its first project in 2006 under establishing and developing distinct urban communities, asserting that Emaar's investments up EGP 53 billion within 2013, and the company is keening to provide 15 K job opportunities inside Cairo.
Emaar has pumped EGP 150 million for its projects in Uptown Cairo 'Mokattam' and 'Mivida' Community in new Cairo to provide more job vacancies.

El Dahan added in a press conference concerning the partnership contract between his company and Philips Solar Road Lighting Solutions Company that his company did not resort to halt is projects in Egypt in the current period despite the political and security turmoil.
Emaar Properties is showcasing its diverse portfolio of projects – both in Dubai and other key global markets – at Cityscape Global. The latest projects of Emaar in Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and Lebanon will also be showcased.
Mivida is Emaar Misr's third integrated project in Egypt following Uptown Cairo and Marassi, both of them currently being developed on schedule.
Mivida is a pioneering developmental concept in Egypt as it introduces smaller, smarter and cost-competitive fully-finished, ready to furnish residences that uphold Emaar's world-class quality standards.
