Gold price strengthens after weekend

Spot gold prices increased on Monday, October 6, 2025, at 12:53 pm GMT by 1.29 per cent to $3,937.08 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,886.83 per ounce.
Meanwhile, US gold futures reached 1.32 per cent to $3,960.60 per ounce, up from Friday's closing price of $3,908.9.
