Gold prices rebound after earlier losses

Spot gold prices increased on Thursday, August 28, 2025, at 12:31 pm GMT by 0.22 per cent to $3,405.05 per ounce, compared to its previous close of $3,397.46.
Meanwhile, US gold futures inched up 0.38 per cent to $3,461.80 per ounce, up from Monday's closing price of $3,448.6.
