Asia-Pacific markets closed mixed on Thursday as investors analysed the Bank of Korea's (BOK) policy decision. South Korea's Kospi increased by 0.29 per cent to close at 3,196.32, while the small-cap Kosdaq decreased by 0.41 per cent to finish the trading day at 798.43. Japan's Nikkei 225 rose by 0.73 per cent to end the trading day at 42,828.79, and the Topix slightly increased by 0.65 per cent to close at 3,089.78. Australia's S&P/ASX 200 added 0.22 per cent to close at 8,980. Hong Kong's Hang Seng index declined by 0.81 per cent, while mainland China's CSI 300 gained 1.77 per cent to finish the trading day at 4,463.78.
