Egypt's SCZONE signs $7m deal with Germany's SUN GARDEN

Egypt's General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) has signed a $7 million (approximately EGP 340 million) contract with Germany's SUN GARDEN to set up a factory in West Qantara Industrial Zone.
The project, spanning 30,000 square metres, will focus on producing garden furniture, umbrellas, home textiles, and mattresses. It is expected to generate 500 direct jobs, with 90 per cent of output allocated for export.
