Egypt's Institute for Diplomatic Studies signed a memorandum of understanding with the Women Development Organisation (WDO), an arm of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), to expand cooperation on training and academic programmes. According to a statement from the foreign ministry, the agreement will see the institute design courses and activities to strengthen the WDO's capacity in diplomacy and foreign policy. In turn, the WDO will contribute expertise in women's empowerment and join the institute in organising training initiatives in areas of shared interest. The deal is part of Egypt's efforts to position itself as a regional hub for diplomatic training while supporting women's leadership across OIC member states. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English
