Egypt's National Telecom Regulatory Authority (NTRA) met with Gharbia Governor Ashraf El-Gendy and several local government leaders to discuss launching a wide-ranging technology awareness campaign across the governorate. The meeting highlighted NTRA's role in protecting telecom users' rights, safeguarding personal data and privacy, and raising awareness of cybersecurity threats and electronic fraud risks. Both sides agreed to hold coordination meetings between NTRA and Gharbia's working teams to finalise the campaign's fieldwork schedule.
