Egypt's Minister of Civil Aviation Sameh El-Hefny met on Sunday with Marwa Ghorab, vice president of the General Union of Egyptians in Canada, and Jacqueline Saad, secretary-general of the American Coptic Organisation, the Cabinet reported. Talks focused on strengthening ties with Egyptian communities abroad, highlighting their role as an extension of Egypt's soft power and as contributors to national development, the statement added. El-Hefny stressed that Egyptian disapora play an important role in promoting Egypt's development achievements and strengthening bilateral relations with host countries. Ghorab praised the ministry's efforts to support Egypt's development agenda, highlighting the importance of continuous engagement with Egyptians abroad to reinforce national ties, as stated in the release. Saad also expressed appreciation for the minister's outreach, affirming that both the American Coptic Organisation and the General Union of Egyptians in Canada are committed to supporting Egypt's global image.
