European shares rose on Thursday as investors weighed corporate earnings and fresh economic data. The pan-European STOXX 600 gained 0.27 per cent by 8:32 a.m. GMT, led by a 0.73 per cent rise in Spain's IBEX 35, while Germany's DAX and France's CAC 40 rose 0.36 per cent and 0.37 per cent, respectively.
