Egypt's Ministry of Health and Population reported on Thursday that the third edition of the 100 Days of Health initiative has delivered 45,470,311 free medical services across the country in its first 29 days. The campaign offered 1,878,956 free medical services across 12 sectors, each contributing to its integrated health and development goals, including 716,088 services through the Primary Care Sector. The Egyptian Ambulance Authority handled 5,651 emergency cases, and the General Secretariat for Specialised Medical Centres delivered 101,538 services. Hospitals under the Therapeutic Institution provided 15,881 services. In addition, 82,151 citizens benefited from health awareness and education activities carried out by community outreach teams in public areas, sports clubs, and shopping centres across governorates. These efforts aim to promote public health awareness and guide citizens to benefit from the campaign's services, alongside awareness seminars and various educational activities, the statement added.
