Egypt's Ministry of Health and Population reported on Monday that the third edition of the 100 Days of Health initiative has delivered 40,077,278 free medical services across the country in its first 26 days, since its launch on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. The campaign was implemented under the directives of Minister of Health Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, emphasising the need to strengthen national health initiatives for improved healthcare system efficiency and universal health coverage. Abdel Ghaffar reported that the campaign offered 1,696,913 free medical services across 12 sectors last Saturday, each contributing to its integrated health and development goals, including 729,538 services through the Primary Care Sector. The Egyptian Ambulance Authority handled 5,733 emergency cases, and the General Secretariat for Specialised Medical Centres delivered 81,086 services. Hospitals under the Therapeutic Institution provided 16,510 services. In addition, 61,451 citizens benefited from health awareness and education activities carried out by community outreach teams in public areas, sports clubs, and shopping centres across governorates. These efforts aim to promote public health awareness and guide citizens to benefit from the campaign's services, alongside awareness seminars and various educational activities, the statement added.
