Egypt raises insurance policy limit for expatriates

Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) have signed a cooperation protocol as part of the Your Insurance in Egypt initiative, aimed at enhancing personal accident insurance for Egyptians abroad and their families, the Foreign Ministry has announced.
The protocol aims to upgrade the insurance policy dedicated to Egyptians abroad and their families to provide coverage against the risks of death and total disability. It also seeks to expand the scope of the policy to include all Egyptians residing abroad, not just those employed overseas, enabling them to benefit from the mentioned insurance policy. In addition, the insurance policy limit will be increased from EGP 100,000 to EGP 250,000.
