Egypt's Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities Sherif El Sherbiny held a meeting on Saturday with representatives of the contracting companies implementing Sawary urban development project west of Carrefour Alexandria to review construction progress and address any obstacles to project execution and handover. The minister reviewed the status of housing and villa handover, stressing the importance of adhering to the schedule and finalising landscaping works. He also called for a weekly progress report to monitor the project's handover plan. Sawari Alexandria includes 64 residential towers containing 3,068 units, and 310 villas, alongside infrastructure works for roads, utilities, electricity, gas, and communications. The project aims to provide a range of housing options and to support Alexandria's development with investment and service facilities. As of now, 414 apartments and 98 villas have been handed over to buyers, with the remaining units set to be handed over in phases. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: M. S. Salama
