Egypt's Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Hassan El-Khatib met with executives from Toyoichi Tsusho and Egypt's El-Araby Group to discuss the company's investment projects in Egypt, an official report has announced. The meeting reviewed cooperation frameworks for expanding engineering glass manufacturing with Japanese technology, creating job opportunities in specialised glass industries, and boosting Egypt's glass exports to Africa and the Gulf. This project aims to produce high-precision architectural glass for major construction projects, boosting local supply chains and positioning Egypt as an industrial hub for exports to regional markets, the statement added. El-Khatib also held talks with senior executives from Nissan Motors, one of the world's largest automakers. The discussions focused on strengthening the company's presence in Egypt and explored collaboration on clean energy and autonomous driving technologies—areas where Nissan has been a global pioneer.
