CBE suspends banking operations on Thursday for Revolution Day

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has announced that all banks operating in the country will suspend work on Thursday, July 24, in observance of the anniversary of the July 23 Revolution. According to the statement, banking operations will resume on Sunday morning, July 27.
