Egypt's banks off on Coptic Christmas day – CBE

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced on Monday that all banks operating in the country will be closed on Tuesday, January 7 in observance of the Coptic Christmas Day.
Banking operations will resume the following morning, Wednesday.
