European stocks extended losses on Tuesday as investors grew cautious over diminishing prospects of a US trade deal and scrutinised corporate earnings for signs of pressure from tariffs and currency volatility. The pan-European STOXX 600 index was down 0.86 per cent by 11:41 a.m. GMT, with Germany's DAX falling 1.06 per cent, France's CAC 40 shedding 0.82 per cent, and Spain's IBEX 35 slipping 0.17 per cent.
