Egypt has achieved an unprecedented leap in the Global Peace Index 2025, advancing 38 places compared to 2014 to become the world's most improved country, with an overall enhancement of 13.5 per cent, the Cabinet reported. A key contributing factor was the sharp decline in violent demonstrations, as Egypt's score improved from 5.0 points in 2014 to 1.8 points in 2025. Egypt now ranks 107th on the Global Peace Index, having advanced 38 positions from 146th a decade ago. Attribution: Amwal Al Ghad English Subediting: M. S. Salama
