China's job market remained broadly stable in the first half of 2025, with the average urban surveyed unemployment rate reaching 5.2 per cent, official data showed on Tuesday. In June, the rate edged down to 5.0 per cent. The unemployment rate for rural migrant workers stood at 4.8 per cent.
