China's total trade in goods rose 2.9 per cent year-on-year to 21.79 trillion yuan in the first half of 2025, with exports growing 7.2 per cent and imports falling 2.7 per cent, official data showed on Tuesday. Private enterprises led with a 7.3 per cent increase in trade volume, accounting for 57.3 per cent of total trade.
