China's industrial production expanded by 6.4 per cent in the first half of 2025, led by a surge in high-tech and equipment manufacturing, official data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Tuesday. Manufacturing output climbed to 7.0 per cent year-on-year, while equipment manufacturing jumped 10.2 per cent and high-tech manufacturing rose 9.5 per cent. Output of new energy vehicles, 3D printers, and industrial robots surged by 36.2 per cent, 43.1 per cent, and 35.6 per cent, respectively.
